Eid al-Fitr festival

Filipino Muslims pray to celebrate Eid al-Fitr festival at the Baguio Athletic Bowl on September 10, 2010, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. The three-day festival, which begins after the sighting of a new crescent moon, has been declared on September 10 for most parts of the world and marks the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, during which devout Muslims abstain from food, drink, smoking and sex from dawn to dusk.
