Senator Loren legarda  visit   the Irisan dumpsite where 5 perished and numbers of houses destroyed  in the massive trashlside duing the onslaught of tyhoon Mina weeks ago. Legarda said this could have been prevented if only the law was followed as Baguio city mayor Mauricio Domogan listen to what Legarda was saying on how ton prevent another erosion.

Workers rushes to finish the repainting and major redesigning  of one of Baguo's historic building, the PUSO ng Baguio in Session road before another typhoon visits this northern mountain resort.

Fried rice, a fusion of asian and mediterrenian concoction as exhibited at the SM mall where they held the Rice Festival that fed around fifteen thousand mall goers 3 September 2011. The festival was participated in by the different restaurants sponsored by the Hotel and Restaurants Associations in Baguio city headed by their president Anthony De Leon.

AVALANCHE OF GARBAGE. The tons of garbage that cascaded to Asin Road after the retaining wall of the Irisan controlled dump facility in Baguio during the height of Typhoon Mina is now a subject of clearing operations by the City Government of Baguio and DPWH to prevent minor trash slide and occurrence of diseases due to the scattered garbage. Three person were also burried alive when the mountain of garbage  washed away several houses during the height of typhoon Mina.

President Benigno Aquino III answers queries of the local and national media during a press briefing at the Camp John Hay last week. The President visited Baguio City to switch on the lighting of the Burnham Park Complex which is a project of the Department of Energy.
